Save the Date for Spring Testing – Your Participation Matters Most!

iLEAD AV Exploration families of 3rd through 8th graders, mark your calendars for some important spring testing dates! We’re excited to see all our learners shine and show what they’ve learned. This year, we’re aiming for 100% participation!

All testing will be conducted in person in our classroom. Please reserve the testing window of April 14 through May 1 on your calendar.

Here are the key details:

• California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) Testing Schedule: Your child will be scheduled for four consecutive days.
  • Each daily session will be either in the morning (8:30 AM – 12:00 PM) or the afternoon (1:00 PM – 4:30 PM).
  • We will communicate your child’s specific days and session times very soon.
• Tests Included: All learners will complete four tests:
  • Language Arts Performance Task
  • Language Arts Multiple Choice
  • Math Performance Task
  • Math Multiple Choice
• Note for 5th and 8th Grade: Learners in 5th and 8th grades will have an additional test, the California Science Test (CAST), making their testing commitment five consecutive days.

We’ll be sending out more information soon about specific schedules, what to expect, and how you can help your child feel prepared and confident. In the meantime, please save these dates and know that we appreciate your partnership in making this a successful testing season!
