Thank you to Mr. Z and Ms. Rhonna for a powerful POL on May 17. Your driving question gave the 4th grade learners the opportunity to learn about California Missions using a social justice lens.  “As time travelers fighting social injustice, how can we improve California Mission life of the past?” Their work and insights were very impressive!

Our learners and facilitators are diligently working on final POLs and Showcases of Learning.  As a result, learners are no longer participating in most workshops. Dance, Spanish, color guard, cheer, and choir will continue to meet on a modified schedule to prepare for this year’s Backyard Bash.

If you have not already done so, please enroll your learner in our Summer Session from July 2-Aug. 3. The deadline of May 25 has been extended to June 1. Please access the link below to sign up for this exciting opportunity. It is free for learners who attend the onsite program. Summer session is a way to support academic growth and counteract summer slide.
