When we meet with our EF, what do I have to bring to the learning period (LP) meetings?

Each student has the opportunity to present work samples to their EF at the LP meeting. This is a great way to show the EF all they have learned during that 20-day learning period! Students are encouraged to bring several assignments to “show off” their amazing learning experiences to their EF.

In addition, the parent will also keep track of concepts and activities done over each Learning Period in an Activity/Attendance Log. A printed copy of that completed log must also be brought to the meeting.

   Grades TK-8

*  First Learning Period Meeting – EF will collect a sample from all 4 core subject areas (language arts, math, science and social studies). This is to give the EF a baseline of the student’s academic capabilities.

*  All Other Learning Period Meetings – EF will collect two samples, according to a schedule to be provided by the EF in August.
