iLEAD ANTELOPE VALLEY NEWS & EVENTS
Dear Families,
Last week, we were excited to launch the Soaring Aeronautics Project, a school-wide STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics) initiative for grades TK-8. This project immerses learners in aerodynamics and the engineering design process, exploring everything from the flight of butterflies and birds to the design of gliders. We can’t wait for our upcoming Glider on Campus Day, 8th Grade First Flights, and finally our school-wide Presentation of Learning, where our TK-8th grade learners will amaze you with all that they’ve learned about aeronautics.
Just a quick reminder: Monday, September 1, is Labor Day, and school will be closed. We hope you have a relaxing day filled with things that bring you joy.
We can’t wait to see you all at Back to School Night on Thursday, September 4, at 5:00-6:30 PM.
Please also note that Thursday will be a minimum day. On minimum days, learners are dismissed at the same time they are released on Fridays (12:30 PM).
