Passion Project Launch

One of the greatest things about homeschooling through iLEAD is the inclusion of PBL, or Project-Based Learning. It is a cornerstone of iLEAD culture, and your learner will get a chance to participate this year with hands-on, dynamic projects. Our first project for the year will launch the week of August 29th. You will want your learner to join their synchronous instruction time as we introduce our Passion Project. Your learner will get to research and explore any topic that they are passionate about or just want to learn more about. Stay tuned for more details! 

MAP Testing

It’s everyone’s favorite time: testing time! MAP testing is our in-house assessment which your facilitator will administer online during the week of August 29th. Your learner will take one Math test and one Reading test during the week. The results help your facilitator assess your learner’s strengths and areas of need so we can individualize their learning plan. Your facilitator will send out more information, including their testing schedule soon! 

Curriculum Overview Night – Set Yourself Up for Success!

New to Bookshark? Feeling overwhelmed? Or maybe you just want a refresher course! Join us on September 1st from 5-6 P.M. in our Exploration classroom so we can set you up for a successful school year! We will demonstrate how to put together your binder, how to use the schedule, and give you lots of tips and tricks for planning your homeschool day in a way that works for your family’s individual needs. 

We will also offer a virtual link for those who are unable to attend in person.

Curriculum Pick-Up Week

Curriculum pick-up will take place the week of September 5th (after Labor Day). Please sign up HERE for a day and time to pick up all curriculum materials for your family. We will begin week one of our curriculum the following week (week of September 12th).

On Campus Workshops

Our on-campus workshops will begin the week of September 12th! Every Tuesday and Thursday we will hold workshops from 9:00am-12:30pm in our AV Exploration classrooms. Please keep an eye out for more detailed information about workshops, including a link to sign-up, soon!
