Third-grader Mia Hernandez answers questions thoughtfully. Mia will volunteer to answer a question even if she is not sure that she is correct. She applies several learning modalities while doing group activities and independent work. She has a lot of drive and determination. Mia knows that what she does now will impact her later. She is excited to learn and very kind. — Ms. Ellington
