Catching Character and the 7 Habits in Action
Last week’s Character Lab focus was purpose. Our learner, Mason Watts, exhibited purpose, grit, and gratitude during the flag football game against St. Mary’s. At the end of the game, Mason gathered both teams together in a huddle and lead them in a post-game chant. He said, “on the count of three — Family.” As a result, both teams proclaimed in unity “FAMILY!” The coach said Mason was the most positive player and team leader he had ever seen his team play against.
