Catching Character and the 7 Habits in Action
Last week, the Character Lab focus was Self Control, and the 7 Habits focus was Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then Be Understood. The girls basketball team and their coaches, Kendra James and Terence Scott, demonstrated this. This was the first time many of the girls played basketball on a team, and they embraced the rules and skills their coaches taught them. They played their first game on Tuesday, February 12, and worked together as a team because they embraced Habit 5 and self control.
