Message from the Director

Thank you to all the parents who joined us last week for our first iSupport collaborative. iSupport is like a traditional PTA.
Do you want to strengthen our school program? Help ease the load of your child’s facilitator? Volunteer in the classroom or at school events? Join iSupport! Meetings are the first Thursday of every month at iLEAD AV, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., and a repeat meeting from 6-7 p.m. The next meeting is October 3rd.

The iLEAD AV families always enjoy KONA ICE when they come to visit. Thanks again for supporting iLEAD AV.

Workshops will be starting in mid-September for the fall 2019 semester. The workshop interest forms went out last week and are due now. We have added a few new workshops to the schedule: The Comic Book Club, Zumba, Performing Arts, Scrapbooking, and — for the middle school learners — the Ambassador Program. Please go over the many workshops we provide with your learner and turn in the interest form if you haven’t yet.
iLEAD Antelope Valley, a free public charter school in Lancaster, is part of the iLEAD Schools network of charter schools throughout California, the Midwest, Colorado, and Hawaii. iLEAD empowers learners to become conscientious, compassionate, and responsible citizens of the world, and inspires them to become creative thinkers and leaders with a lifelong love of learning.
