Free Resources to Celebrate the Solar Eclipse: April 8

Solar Eclipse

Greetings, Space Science Enthusiasts!

On April 8, 2024, the Moon will move between the Sun and Earth, blocking out our view of the Sun.

Everyone along the path where the Moon’s dark shadow lands will see a total solar eclipse, one of nature’s most awesome spectacles. Everywhere in North America will see at least a partial eclipse of the Sun.

To prepare for and celebrate this special event, the University of California at Berkeley is hosting a Live Space Weather Explorers Week April 1-5. Click below to explore their free resources:

Additionally, on Tuesday, April 2, at 11 AM PDT, the University of California at Berkeley will host a special live webinar giving you tips for observing an eclipse. Please register here:

Happy observing!
