In the Spotlight: Shyrelle Tillman

Hello everyone!
My name is Shyrelle Tillman and I have the privilege of being the 4th grade CARE team member as well as the dance instructor at iLEAD Antelope Valley. I have a 3-year-old little boy who is my world and on top of that I am a twin sister. My hobbies are spending time with loved ones, dance, fashion, restoring furniture, and taking my little one to Chuck E Cheese. I love working with the learners at iLEAD. I especially love going home knowing I made an impact in their lives at the end of each day.
My dance workshop is very inspiring to my learners, myself included. I have four different dance styles that I teach, which are:
Hip hop – The learners learn different upbeat rhythms as well as moves.- Contemporary – The learners learn to be graceful and elegant. They learn a slower rhythm than what they are normally used to.
 - Jazz – Jazz is all about being funky, stylish, and lots of jazz hands.
 - Free Danc e- Gives learners a chance to showcase their personal moves to other participants and me. Free dance is very inspiring as it shows a certain dedication as well as motivates others to try and never give up.
