iLEAD AV Kids Heart Challenge 2024 Spotlight
We’d like to thank everyone for participating in the Kids Heart Challenge. We’re so proud of our learners for joining the Legacy of Lifesavers and helping kids with special hearts. Because of your generosity, iLEAD AV raised a total of $1,938.05 for the cause.
We’re thrilled to share that iLEAD AV kindergartener Henry A. raised an impressive $340.66, making him the top earner for the Kids Heart Challenge! Henry received a special medal from the American Heart Association and a gift basket from us. Let’s give Henry a big round of applause for his incredible generosity and dedication!
In addition, iLEAD AV learner Andrew shared with us a deeply personal part of his journey — his experience with heart surgery at a young age. Through his bravery and openness, he touched the hearts of everyone who has had the privilege of hearing his story. It is moments like these that remind us of the incredible strength and resilience within each of our learners.
Andrew, we want to extend our sincerest gratitude to you for your courage in sharing such a significant part of your life with us. Your willingness to open up and share your experiences not only enriches our community but also serves as an inspiration to us all.
As we continue our journey together at iLEAD AV, let us carry Andrew’s bravery, empathy, and resilience with us every step of the way.
Thank you, Andrew, for being a shining example of the incredible potential within each of our learners.

- In-person testing will take place on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday of those weeks.
- Virtual testing will take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of each of those weeks.
In Person:

- Thursday, May 9 (ELA PT)
- Friday, May 10 (CAST/Makeups)

- Friday, May 10 (CAST/Makeups)

Due to the crucial importance of learners taking their time and doing their best work, learners will be able to complete only one test per day. Each test is estimated to take about one to two hours to complete when done thoroughly and completely. If your child is testing on site, please be available to pick up your learner as soon as they finish testing. Learners should bring something quiet to do when they are done and should bring their own headphones, if possible.
If you opt to have your child complete their state test at home, the following guidelines need to be followed:
- Learner must be free from all distractions and in a separate and quiet room
- There must be NO interruptions throughout the duration of the test
- Their camera will remain ON at all times (there is no ability to turn off camera on the secure browser testing platform)
- Home internet must be reliable/strong
Please fill out this form indicating whether your child(ren) will be testing at home or in person. This will help us plan accordingly for your child’s testing schedule.
If special education learners will miss SAI sessions due to testing, please let Mrs. Neely know.
Lastly, please read over the attached parent letter regarding state testing.
