During the week of March 2-6, we will be joining the nation in celebration of Read Across America Week! We’ll engage in various activities promoting the joy of reading, fostering a love for literature in our kids. Together, we’ll explore diverse stories, ignite imaginations, and cultivate a culture of lifelong learning through the power of books.

Kids Heart Challenge: March 6-29
Save the date! We’re kicking off the Kids Heart Challenge on March 6! Join us in learning about heart health and raising funds to protect all hearts – especially other kids’! Through fun activities we’ll discover ways to take care of our hearts and brains while practicing kindness, gratitude and learning ways to de-stress. Plus, we have the chance to earn PE equipment for our school!

Glider on Campus Event: March 14
As part of our iLEAD Soaring Aeronautics Project, a glider will be on our campus on Thursday, March 14. All iLEAD AV learners will have a chance to visit the glider and talk with the pilots. Please see details in the flyer below.
TK/Kindergarten Roundup & Open House: March 14
We are excited to invite you to our campus to learn about iLEAD Antelope Valley, a tuition-free public charter school in Lancaster, California, serving grades TK-8.
Families of rising transitional kindergarteners (TK) and kindergarteners are invited to meet our wonderful credentialed educators and explore our campus. In addition, families of students entering grades 1-8 are welcome to join us to discover the many ways iLEAD AV can benefit you!

iLEAD AV Color Run: March 15
iLEAD Antelope Valley is hosting a Color Run Fundraiser on Friday, March 15, from 1-2 PM. Tickets are available in the front office for $5 each, which covers a racer bib, sunglasses, and finisher medal. Be sure to wear a white T-shirt!

Apply for iLEAD AV’s 2024-25 Enrollment Lottery by April 5
At iLEAD AV, all grade-level admissions are done by public random lottery. Through the lottery, we fill open spots and then start creating a wait list. To be included in the lottery, you must fill out one iLEAD AV Enrollment Lottery Application per new student.
Our 2024-25 public enrollment lottery will be April 9, 2024. Applications have been available since December 15, 2023.

- Be sure to select “TK-8 AV Hybrid Studio.”
- You do not have to be present at the lottery for your child to receive a spot.
- After the lottery, we will notify families via email if their learners were selected.
- Kindergarten eligibility requires a child to turn five by September 1. Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is for four-year-olds turning five between September 2 and April 2 for the 2023-24 school year and between September 2 and June 2 for the 2024-25 school year.
- All interest forms received after the lottery are placed on the waitlist in the order received.
